My mom spent 3.5 weeks here, and I must say, we were very happy with the care she received. Kushie, the nurse manager, went above and beyond to make sure she had what she needed, when she needed it. She was very responsive and attentive to our needs. Kushie and the entire staff was amazing, so kind and caring. I can’t thank them enough for taking such great care of my mother.

My 98 year old mom just spent approx. 5 weeks at Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. A few setbacks kept her there longer than expected but our family always felt she was in good hands. The nursing staff and aides were very attentive to her needs. Nursing manager Kushie Rana is a gem. Kushie continued to call with updates and personally checked in on mom, sat with mom when needed and ordered special meals. Winchester is very lucky to have such dedication. I could ask a thousand questions and never felt that I was being a bother. All nurses and aides were pleasant. They treated mom with care and respect. PT and OT got mom back walking and case manager George would swing by mom's room with updates when he knew family was there. Overall, very pleased with mom's care.

Everyone that we came in contact with was so nice! Doctors, nurses, aids, house keeping and office staff. They all took very good care of my mother. The OT and PT was very, very good! The facility was very clean! Overall, we were extremely happy with my mom‘s care.

My mom ended up at the STR first floor and was there for 20 days, due to her disease she did not progress and we made the difficulty decision to seek Long Term Care and a blessing was a bed on the 3rd floor. My family can not say enough about the staff there. My dad felt supported and felt like they were family. From the social worker to the unit manager Beverly, and the CNA's and nurses and all the staff were so caring and gentle and provided us with care and support. Thank you Winchester!

Before coming to Winchester our family member was in and out of the emergency room many times. The assisted living facility she was at was not equipped to accommodate her medical and safety needs. Though we were reluctant at first to admit that she needed nursing home level of care, we could not be more pleased with Winchester! The care she has received from everyone at Winchester has been excellent. They carefully have monitored both her medical and safety needs. She has not been to the hospital once since she arrived at Winchester two years ago. Also, what is so important to us is that she is happy! She loves her caregivers, the other residents and the activities!

It is a difficult time to have a loved one in a nursing home but Winchester has made the transition during this especially difficult time easier. My aunt feels very well taken care of. They are caring and the staff has made sure she is comfortable. The 3rd floor head nurse, Beverly, has been wonderful, she comes to the phone, answers my questions. The social worker Laurie Difranco has been amazing, she answers me right away and if it's not the same day I know she is busy or off that day because she gets back first thing the next day. Also wonderful have been the nurses Beth and Barbara. I wish I knew everyone's name who has helped my aunt, she tries to see their names but sometimes the badges are covered by their gowns. The staff at reception have also been wonderful, on the phone and when we drop things off. My aunt always enjoys her meals too. I am a home health care therapist and I know when i have a patient who was at Winchester that they received very good care and they always have good things to say about the facility.

The team at Winchester Cared for my mother after she had 4 strokes and some other complications. She was literally rushed out of a Boston Hospital well before she should have been, and not prepared for the trip. When she arrived there, she was a mess and not in great condition. They called me when she arrived and by the time I arrived at Winchester (some 10 minutes later), She was clean, cared for, and resting comfortably. Things only got better from that day forward. The team at Winchester gave her excellent and individualized cared. They guided us through the process of caring for an elderly parent. Something I found that we were greatly in need of. Every day that she was there, I could look at myself in the mirror and say, "We've brought her to the best place." I will say that the team of people there are just amazing. The word "Caring" does it no justice.
